Going dotty for Kusama

I love it when fashion and art gather up for exiting collaborations!

Marc Jacobs has been a long time admirer of Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama so it comes as no surprise that there is collaboration between LV and the eccentric artist on the way. The French fashion house is also sponsoring the 82 year olds new retrospective at the Tate Modern this spring (Feb 9- June 5)

If your knowledge about Kusama is limited I recommend reading up on her fascination life as an artist.

Garry Winogrand+Chloe

My favourite Pre-Fall 2012 collection is from Chloe, I love the 60s prints and the modern clean silhouettes that creative director Clare Waight Keller has put in to her second collection for the prestigious design house. For inspiration the British designer looked through the archives of American street photographer Garry Winogrand known for his portrayal of NY in the mid-20 century.

I've always been a fan of high top sneakers and these bad boys from Isabel Marant has been on my radar since they appeared on the french designers catwalk floor two seasons ago..If you're lucky enough to own a pair then good for you.. if not keep your eyes on ebay or pray that Madam Marant will decide to refill stocks..
