Christian Dior loved spring, so in an homage to the late master Raf Siomons made spring come early for Dior, with a couture collection so fresh you could almost smell the hyacinths. Simons added his own touch by looking away from the archives and into the future with sleek silhouettes and architectural layers. Hair and makeup by Guido and McGrath gave the show an extra edge. The beautiful pre-fall collection from Acne was inspired by the Swedish artist August Strindberg who's work I happened to adore. Exaggerated shapes and volumes has become quite a thing by the ultra cool scandi brand. Looking forward to see what Johansson pulls out of the bag for AW13!

Fashion baby

Beautiful Mariacarla Boscono and her adorable baby Marlialucas are both featured in this seasons Givenchy campaign. Mariacarla who is close friends with the brands creative director Riccardo Tisci, gave birth to her baby girl last August. The campaign is lensed by Mert and Marcus alongside Kate Moss, Marina Abramovic, matadore Jose Maria Manzanares and Jared Buckhiester.
